1st Trimester Pregnancy Necessities

Remember when we talked about those pesky first trimester symptoms? I have some ideas on how to get a little relief! The full list can be found here.

First, let’s tackle the nausea. Ginger was a lifesaver for me! These Gem Gem Ginger chews were especially helpful! They do have that spicy ginger taste, but I found that really helpful for getting rid of nausea. Plus they’re easy to carry around for relief on the go!

Another product I found helpful was ginger tea! I really loved this kind from Swanson. I was a huge tea drinker before pregnancy, so it was nice to find a type I could safely drink while pregnant too! It was nice to have a cup before bed, when my nausea was the worst!

The other tough pregnancy symptom I had was exhaustion, as well as some sciatic pain. What really helped with this was a pregnancy pillow! I ended up ordering the Pharmedoc Pregnancy Pillow. It really helped me sleep better and helped with my nerve pain.

It’s always good to have a prenatal vitamin that you love that doesn’t make you feel even worse! I found with a little experimenting that the One A Day Prenatals were my favorite! They gave me the least amount of a tummy ache.

Ok, this one isn’t necessarily a pregnancy necessity, but it’s been awesome to have :P A glider! With an ottoman! It is SO nice to sit in when my sciatica or back is bothering me!

Whether you have a ton of symptoms and are struggling, or haven’t really noticed any symptoms, I’m sending you all the good and healthy thoughts I can. If you are struggling with some yucky symtoms, I hope one of these products helps!
